In 1998 ScanParts Co. Ltd. obtained its END-USE CERTIFICATE authorized by the Danish Custom Authorities. In 1999 ScanParts Co. Ltd. received its approval for Custom Bonded Warehouse allowing the company to transit and store parts shipped to and from Customers and Suppliers located outside the EU territory.
For all customs transactions ScanParts Co. Ltd. has an online agreement with the Customs Authorities whereby we process all incoming and outgoing shipments in-house whether such shipments are being undertaken for Customers or Suppliers regardless of their ship-to address.
Since our inception, ScanParts has handled shipments in both transit- and by drop-shipments, as well as direct shipments being customs cleared and booked in-house using online systems with selected freight forwarder companies.
Since 2001, we have been providing shipments on prepaid basis with courier door to door shipments followed by a track and trace system available online. ScanParts have access to book your order with any courier of your choosing and will be able to assist in direct courier arrangements as well. Our storage areas are furnished with double-row metal shelves with appropriate storage space for each unit. Our entire facility is temperature- and humidity controlled according to Aviation Industry Standards and audited by End-Use Customers as well as Consignment Owners.
Our storage & logistics procedures include Part Number, Serial Number & Batch Number controlled parts storage, Shelf-life and Cure Date registrations and a fireproof library of Certificates, Technical Records and documents proving traceability and shipping information from Manufacturers, Repair Stations and End-Users.
All our packaging material complies with the latest industry standards for safe and secure packaging. We only utilize 7mm double-layered cardboard boxes for packaging to ensure all units are delivered safely.
